This is a fresh aromatic mineral and fruity Pouilly Fumé, which is elegant, has plenty of length and a full body. As with most whites from the region, this matches well with smoked salmon, sushi and most seafood.

This vibrant, aromatic wine comes from the Awatere Valley, south of the better-known Wairau Plains. Michiel Eradus, owner/winemaker, believes the prolonged ripening period here is key to the wines’ flavour intensity. Eradus Sauvignon Blanc is herbaceous and mineral-driven with a long, rich finish.

Another wonderful creation by Michiel Eradus. His skill in the vineyard and with blending is undoubted and he has created some amazing value wines. This particular Riesling, named after his dog, is just delicious…refreshing, served very chilled, it is perfect with seafood, spicy food or simply as an aperitif.
