1. Delivery:
Minimum order value is £50. Orders of £100 or over are delivered free of charge. Standard delivery is £9.95 per order where the order is under £100. We will deliver to any address in the mainland UK, the Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland. Orders to the Scottish Islands and NI are delivered at a cost of £12.95 (irrespective of order price). As we use different suppliers orders may come in more than one delivery.
Our normal delivery times are between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday and we try our best to deliver within 7 working days of you placing your order. If you are not going to be available to take delivery, please state a safe place where we can leave the wine.
If we have not attempted to deliver your wine within 7 working days of you placing your order we will credit your account with the full delivery charge to be discounted from your next order.
If you need to make a claim on a delivery, you must do so within 21 days of the initial order date. Email sales@thewinelist.co.uk with order details.
2. Vintages and availability of stock:
Due to high demand and constantly changing vintages, we may from time to time require to change the vintage of the wines that you have ordered. We will send to you the closest vintage available. If there is a stock issue with a product that you have ordered, we will offer an alternative for the equivalent value so as not to delay the order from getting to you within our delivery terms. Should that not be satisfactory you can cancel the order.
3. Customer Satisfaction:
If you are unhappy with our service in any way, please contact us by email on sales@thewinelist.co.uk. We try our best to handle all enquiries quickly and efficiently.
4. Pricing and Payment:
All prices quoted are in sterling and are per bottle (unless otherwise indicated). All prices include VAT and any delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any point.
5. Age Restriction:
You can only purchase from thewinelist.co.uk if you are 18 years of age or older. By placing an order, you are confirming that you are 18 years of age or older.
If you are purchasing from thewinelist.co.uk with the intention of sending the wine as a gift, the recipient of the wine must also be over 18 years of age.
6. Online Security:
All of our payment procedures are taken using the Stripe platform ensuring safe use of credit/debit cards online. We also have additional security to protect our customer database that is restricted to internal use.
It is your responsibility to keep your account and password details from being disclosed.
6. Order Cancellations:
You may cancel your order at any time for any reason up to 21 days from the date of order, provided that all bottles have not been opened and in a suitable re-sale condition. The customer will be responsible for the costs of returning the items including insurance charges.

We will credit you with the price of the wine within 30 days of the wine being returned to us in a satisfactory condition.
7. Returns Policy:
If some or all of your wines are damaged during delivery, we will despatch a replacement order and arrange for the full damaged case to be collected free of charge.
Orders may be cancelled within 14 working days of receipt of goods. We will collect the product from you and a full refund will be issued provided the goods remain in re-saleable condition. The customer will be responsible for the costs of return the items including insurance charges.

9. Our Guarantee to you:
We warrant that all wines will be of a satisfactory quality and fit for their general purpose.

By providing your details to thewinelist.co.uk, you consent to thewinelist.co.uk maintaining, recording, holding and using the information you gave us at the time of ordering to process your orders, to improve our service and inform you of promotions. All data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
