The 2016 Macon-Verze comes from six parcels, Les Chênes, En Perret, Le Monté, Les Cassons, Escolles and Les Muses. It is a stunning wine, white yellow in colour and with a perfume that combines a citrus, zesty mineral quality with an initially subdued creamy richness. The palate is seductive, lush but with a crisp acidity, nice weight and a delectably supple finish.

“It this offers subtle citrus, wet stone and apricot aromas followed by a juicy, lively palate with good density. On the rich scale, with honeyed lemon rind and creamy edges balanced by a crisp finish”.
