Wine Notes
For four generations, the domaine of Bachelet-Ramonet has been located in the heart of the Côte d’Or, south of the Côte de Beaune, in the town of Chassagne-Montrachet. This famous village is one of five villages considered to be the ‘Côte des Blancs’, a strip of land considered to be the best place on earth for white wine, with an international reputation for excellence. The family’s Chassagne-Montrachet has lovely mineral and flint notes in the nose and mouth, lots of freshness, white flowers, pure delicate citrus and pear fruit, framed by richness and acidity. full-bodied, powerful Chassagne-Montrachet from family-owned Domaine Bachelet-Ramonet.
Attention to detail is paramount to Alain Bonnefoy of old-established Domaine Bachelet-Ramonet. The vineyards are tended meticulously according to sustainable techniques, aiming to achieve balance in the vineyard. Bachelet-Ramonet’s are opulent wines with lucid freshness and minerality.
